Fighting For Client's Rights.  Fighting For Victims.

Phillip Aaron is an African American Seattle, Washington based Attorney who has been in private practice since 1976.  His passion for justice and his willingness and drive to fight for his client’s rights have established his thriving practice.

Phillip Aaron is the youngest of ten siblings.  He was born in 1945 into the ghettos of St. Louis, Missouri where as a child growing up everyday was a struggle to survive.   He and his family occupied a small cramped home and lived in near poverty conditions.  Phillip Aaron knew at an early age that he wanted something better for himself and for those around him whose lives he also wanted to improve.  Despite having loving parents and close relationship with this brothers and sisters, he knew he needed to get out of the St. Louis ghetto surroundings if he was to make his life better.  In his teenage years his circumstances grew worse and his life improvement plans were placed on the fast track.  He dropped out of high school in the 10th grade and joined the Air Force where he obtained his G.E.D.  and was honorably discharged.  After the Service, Phillip Aaron decided that the best way he could make a positive change in his life and in the lives of those around him was to become a lawyer.  Despite friends and family telling him he could never succeed, he left the ghettos of St. Louis behind him.  He married and moved to Washington State.  While working full time and struggling to raise and support his family, he also attended law school at the University of Washington and graduated.  He received a Juris Doctor Degree, passed the Bar, and became a licensed attorney in 1976.

Phillip Aaron started out his legal career as a legal intern in the King County Prosecutors Office for the City of Seattle as a trial lawyer.  As he progressed in his career, he also sat as  a Judge Pro Tem in Seattle Municipal Court, entered a short-term partnership with another attorney, and finally formed his own practice in the early 1980s.  He has been in private practice with his own law firm since that time.

Throughout his career, Phillip Aaron also formed, owned, and operated National Waste, a waste disposal company operating in the City of Seattle.  He also purchased, owned, and operated a small Phoenix, Arizona based commuter airline called Golden Pacific Airline.  The airline was the first airline to be 100% African American owned.  Click here to view information from In The Steps of Esteban:  Tucson's African American Heritage  concerning Africans Americans in aviation and Phillip Aaron's role in that heritage.    Phillip Aaron also authored his book, "The Power To Create", is a teacher and Academic Dean for the A.L. Hardy Academy of Theology, and is a minister and attorney for his church, The Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Temple.

Today Phillip Aaron has a thriving law practice with the majority of his practice focusing on representing individuals in personal injury auto accidents and civil rights claims with service being mainly in the African American community.

Phillip Aaron has gradually moved his practice away from personal injury and is focusing on representing men and women who as children were sexually abused by clergy.  Most of these cases involve priests from the Chicago Archdiocese.  In addition to legal representation of his clients, Phillip Aaron founded the support group African American Advocates For Victims of Clergy Sexual Abuse and was formed to provide support for sexual abuse victims.  Phillip Aaron also founded and designed an adult training seminar called "Take Back Your Power."  This seminar is offered as an additional means of support for sexual abuse victims and is offered to the public at specified times.  Combined with his support group, the connections with SNAP (Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests), access to Bishop Accountability, and offering his adult training seminar, Phillip Aaron presents a strong base from which to provide his clients with legal and emotional support as he negotiates  and mediates their cases.  The same courage and determination he used to forge a new life for himself and his family, he now uses in his practice to represent his clients.

Phillip Aaron has compassion, drive, and determination to provide quality service for each and every client.  Though his office is in Seattle, Washington, he travels to meet with clients.   Phillip Aaron has successfully negotiated, mediated, and  settled well over 100 clergy sexual abuse cases.
Phillip Aaron's fierce drive to serve his clients never waivers.  He fights for young men and women who suffer from severely damaged childhood traumas.   In his representation of these innocent victims of clergy sexual abuse, he is a force to be reckoned with.  He absolutely will not stop until his client's cases have been mediated for fair compensation, their counseling or therapy needs addressed, annuity or escrow accounts in place,  and  their voices heard.
